9-Hole Snowshoe Run/Walk Raises $2,300 for Clark County United Way

Forward Bank hosted a 9-Hole Snowshoe Run/Walk at Meadowview Golf Course in Owen on Saturday, February 8th. The event drew participants from all over the state and raised a total of $2,300 for Clark County United Way. 44 individuals took on the 9-Hole Snowshoe Run/Walk and many others showed up for the raffle drawings and good company.
"We had a great time hosting this first-time event," said Sara Blume, Office Manager of Forward Bank in Withee. "We were happy to have as many participants as we did. Families and friends were able to get together, enjoy the weather and raise funds for a great community organization. We hope to continue this event going forward."
Clark County United Way provides grants/funding to local non-profit programs and services. Most communities estimate that 20% of their residents are served by a United Way funded agency or program each year.
