Forward Bank Opens Up Voting for Video Contest
December 16, 2020
Video submissions were accepted through November 27th, and many students submitted videos highlighting a department of their choice that deserved $1,000. Marshfield High School submitted four videos and the community voted on the top submission. The Science Department was the top vote and will receive $1,000. Schools that submitted only one video and followed guidelines will each be awarded $1,000 for participating.
From December 20th-December 26th, the community has the opportunity to vote for the department that will double their prize money and receive $2,000! Highlighted departments include:
- Greenwood Athletic Department
- Marshfield Science Department
- Columbus Catholic Science Department
- Medford Film Club
- Phillips Logger Pride
- Stanley-Boyd English Department
- Owen-Withee Ag-Tech Department
“Many co-curricular clubs or departments have experienced difficulties due to decreased student engagement and fundraising opportunities,” commented Bill Sennholz, CEO of Forward Bank. “This video contest will be a great way to provide student collaboration and additional funding for their programs.”
