Forward Commits $50,000 to Rib Lake Band Shell Construction
September 6, 2023
Forward is helping the Friends of Rib Lake launch their public fund-raising efforts for the construction of a band shell with a $50,000 donation. The band shell will be in Ice Age Park located near the shores of beautiful Rib Lake.
The new band shell is part of a long-term vision of the Friends of Rib Lake to enhance the value of Ice Age Park creating a multi-use centerpiece for the community. The performance stage that is currently in the design phase will host music throughout the summer months and will help stimulate local businesses providing future economic growth. Multiple community groups will have access to the venue for special events and concerts.
“We approached Forward because of their reputation of helping get community projects off the ground,” commented Scot Bromann, Friends of Rib Lake spokesperson. “Their $50,000 donation is a great start toward the $100,000 project cost. We already have many commitments from other key community members supporting this project, and we know that Rib Lake will come through to help us create a venue to be proud of.”
“Arts and entertainment bring joy to communities and give families a place to go and something to do together,” stated Laura Deuso, Relationship Banker at Forward Bank in Rib Lake. “I’m looking forward to seeing this project develop and grow as future enhancements are made to Ice Age Park. Forward loves being part of communities like Rib Lake, and we hope that businesses and individuals support this project any way that they can.”
