Tom Armstrong Celebrates Retirement After 30 Year Banking Career
December 15, 2020
Tom Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Forward Bank in Park Falls recently celebrated his retirement from the financial services industry with colleagues and friends.
Armstrong has had a lengthy career in banking, having spent 28 years with First National Bank of Park Falls and serving as the bank President. He joined the Forward Family in May of 2019 as Senior Vice President serving the Park Falls community and provided vital leadership during the merger of Forward and First National.
“It was a pleasure working with Tom as we brought our two banks together in 2019,” commented Dave Clark, President at Forward Bank. “His reputation in the community as a banking professional, friend, neighbor, and volunteer helped bridge the gap for employees and customers during and after the transition to Forward. Tom’s dedication as a coach set a wonderful example for the entire organization, and he has left a positive mark on all of us.”
Armstrong has been actively involved in many organizations in Park Falls, including President of the City of Park Falls Revolving Loan Board, President of the Park Falls Little League Board, and as the Head Coach of the Chequamegon High School Baseball team throughout his long career.
On behalf of the Forward Bank staff, our customers, and the community; we thank Tom for his service and support of the bank's mission.
