Forward Financial Breaks Ground for New Headquarters
September 12, 2016
Thursday, September 8 marked the official start of an expected 18-month construction project to build a new headquarters for Forward Financial Bank in Marshfield. The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MACCI) gathered with the bank staff and Board of Directors and dignitaries from the community to celebrate the groundbreaking on this project.
Representatives from the City of Marshfield and MACCI spoke on the impact this construction project will have on the city and the cascading effect it has on other projects in Marshfield.
“We’ve moved Forward into surrounding communities that we thought would benefit from a bank driven to see their communities succeed. As bigger banks have left these towns, we’ve moved in to serve families, businesses and farms. Extending our network of offices into more communities has created more jobs right here in Marshfield. Our support system for all locations is centered here,” commented Bill Sennholz, President & CEO of Forward Financial Bank.
Lori Gropp, Chairman of the Forward Financial Bank Board added, “We know that our team takes great care of our customers, and this Board is committed to taking care of our team. Common spaces for teambuilding and collaboration are planned throughout the facility. We know that this will continue to foster innovation that helps them serve our customers.”
The site chosen for the new headquarters also provides visibility and space for businesses looking for lease space along the busy Central Avenue. As part of this building project, the need to create space for other businesses to lease was a high priority.
“Throughout the next 18 months of construction you will see local contractors working to take this project from design to finish. Our local craftsman will be helping to build this symbol of our growth,” stated Sennholz.
The project is expected to be completed in March 2018
